Students will get a chance to challenge their visual and creative skills through image selection and experimentation with different aesthetic techniques.
Students will be introduced to the world of collage as seen in Dadaism, Surrealism and Conceptual Art and become familiar with the technical possibilities of collage that can be translated into music, literature, film and beyond.
All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary.
This workshop will be split into two sessions with a break in between:
10am-12pm: Introduction to the exciting world of collage; everything from historic examples and styles to technical details and approach.
