The Gallery of Photography are delighted to present the first Irish exhibition of work by the acclaimed US photographer, Greg Gorman.

Sophia Loren and Arnold Schwarzenegger have sat patiently for him. So have Bette Davis, Robert De Niro, Gerard Depardieu, Jamie Lee Curtis and just about every celebrity you can think of. From personality portraits and advertising campaigns to magazine layouts and fine art work, Greg Gorman has developed a unique profile in the world of photography. His photographs have featured on the cover of Life, Blitz, Time Magazine, Vogue, GQ and American Photographer. His film work includes graphics and publicity stills for Tootsie, Sex Lies and Videotape, The Grifters, The Big Easy, Total Recall, Down & Out in Beverly Hills and No Way Out. Though he is perhaps best known for his photographs of Hollywood screen idols and his work for album covers, Gorman is also the eye behind the lens of some of the finest advertising photography of this decade.
