Borderlines
Personal stories and experiences from the border counties

Borderlines is a unique contemporary archive of oral testimonies and photographs. It records the voices of 100 people who give their own stories and experiences relating to the border. Instigated in 2004, the Borderlines project emerged in the context of a growing recognition of the value of storytelling in addressing the legacy of conflict. The process of interviewing participants and building the archive was sensitively negotiated. Click here for more details.

Borderlines management team are: Kevin Duffy; Anthony Haughey; Trish Lambe; Mary McAnulty and Peter McKee. For further information or press packs please contact: Trish Lambe here in the Gallery of Photography, by telephone or by email. A Gallery of Photography project organised in collaboration with Dara Training and Consultancy. Gallery of Photography is funded by the Arts Council. This project is part-financed by the European Union through the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the Cross Border Consortium.
