Biography: Born in Dublin in 1978. Noel studied photography in Dublin and graduated from the University of Wales College in Newport, with a BA Hons in Documentary Photography. He was chosen from a panel of leading young Irish
artists to receive the Gallery of Photography Development Bursary Award 2005 for 'The Joy'. In 2006 Noel represented Ireland as part of a group show representing 25 years of Europe held in the French Senate in Paris.
In 2008 he received the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Per Cent for Art Award for his work ‘Islam and Ireland’. This work is due for exhibition in summer 2009.
The piece in the current exhibition is from his exhibition The Joy held at the Gallery of Photography in 2005.
