  • Biography: Born in Wexford in 1968, Anna Rackard studied at DLIADT and at DIT, Temple Bar. Her series, Farmers, documents the role of women in farming, who often go overlooked or seen as simply the farmer’s wife. Farmers was shown in a solo exhibition at Purdy Hicks Gallery, London and was included in Ireland – An Insider’s View at the International Rencontres d’Arles and in the European Month of Photography in Berlin this year.
