Biography: Born on Valentia Island in 1947, Tony read English and Philosophy at UCD, fraduating in 1973. He has been a professional photographer since 1981 and his work has been published in several national and international magazines and newspapers, including the Sunday Times, Rolling Stone and Liberation (Paris). Portfolios of his work have appeared in the British Journal of Photography and Creative Camera. In 1987 he collaborated with Colm Toibin to produce the book, Walking the Border. His solo exhibition, Dubliners was held at the Gallery of Photography in 1990. A book of the same title was also published, with a text by Colm Toibin.
