Biography:
Mandy O Neill was born in Dublin in 1968. She graduated with a BA (First Class honours) in Photography from the DIT College of Photography in 2005. She lives and works in Dublin.
Recent exhibitions include: 'After All'at Sligo Art Gallery (Curated by Michael Dempsey, Head of Exhibitions, Hugh Lane Gallery) 2008; 'Ireland-an insiders view'at Rue de Roquette, Les Rencontres d Arles, and the Irish Embassy, Berlin 2008.
Previous selected exhibitions include: 'IONTAS' at Sligo Art Gallery 2007/ RHA, Dublin 2006/ 'Young Contemporaries at the Peacock', Peacock Theatre Exhibition space, Dublin 2006/ Pale Space Gallery, Dublin 2006.
Awards and Grants include a Visual Arts Bursary, The Arts Council 2007
Primary Colour Award 2005
Her work features in a number of private collections and in the DIT Faculty of Art Collection
