Biography:
Born in 1979, Eoin studied photography at Sallynoggin Senior College in Dublin and went on to complete a hons. B.A. in Documentary Photography at University of Wales, Newport in 2003. He has exhibited throughout Ireland and was awarded the Gallery of Photography Artist Award for his current project exploring the everyday landscapes of modern Ireland and the relationship between people and this landscape. This work will be exhibited in a solo show at the Gallery Of Photography in 2009. He also received the Belmont Mill National Bursary Award '08 and has recently completed a residency at Belmont Mill Studios, Belmont, Co. Offaly.
The piece in the current exhibition Carpark (Letterkenny), a giclee archival photographic print from an edition of 7, will be included in Eoin’s exhibition at the Gallery of Photography in September 2009.
