Biography:
Born in Dublin in 1967, currently living and working in London. Trish has exhibited extensively, with solo shows at Impressions Gallery, York 2004, Pumphouse Gallery, London, Gallery of Photography, Dublin and Yossi Milo Gallery, New York in 2005. Forthcoming exhibitions include major solo shows at Elaine Levy Projects, Bruxelles; Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne and Impressions Gallery Bradford.
Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Texas and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It is featured in The photograph as Contemporary Art (Thames and Hudson, 2004) and Vitamin Ph, New Perspectives on Photography, (Phaidon, 2006).
Trish has received several grants, awards and commissions, including Arts Council of England Grants in 2004 and 2005, The National Media Museum Bursary 2007/08 and Prospective Sites, European Union Public Art Commission, Billboard project, Vienna, Austria 2006.
The piece in the current exhibition, August 8 1982 (2003), is from Trish’s solo exhibition Seven Years held was shown at the Gallery of Photography in 2005.
