Biography: Born in Kerry, Padraig studied photography at Newport ’92-’94, and currently teaches at St. John’s College, Cork. He held a solo exhibition: “A Sense of Location” at Viewpoint Gallery, Salford, England in 1996. His group exhibitions include: “Lie of the Land”- Gallery of Photography, Dublin 1995 (touring)
“Imagining Kerry”- Siamsa Tire, Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland, 1998
“Revealing Views - images from Ireland” – Royal Festival Hall, London, England 1999 and “Source Commission” – Old Museum arts centre, Belfast, Northern Ireland 1999. His book, Anywhere, Please was published in 1999. Selected images from this ongoing series were included in the group show to mark the Irish presidency of the European Union at the Council of Ministers, Brussels in 2004.
