Biography: Born in Galway in 1976, Suzanne studied at DLIADT, Dublin before moving to London where she was awarded an MA in Fine Art at the Royal College of Art in 2005. She has exhibited her work extensively including in group shows, Metropolis Rise: New Art from London in Shanghai and Beijing, 2006; Schema at Daniel Cooney Fine Art, New York 2006; Transform, Format 06, Derby 2006; PLUG at The County Hall Gallery, London 2006; and To be honest, Brighton Photo Biennial 2004. Solo exhibitions include Behind the Scenes, Ard Bia, Galway, 2007; Through a Glass Darkly OPW, Dublin 2005, The Secret Life of Things BCA Gallery, Bedford, 2008. Suzanne was awarded the Gallery of Photography Artist’s Award for Decommissioned Cameras, which was shown in the Gallery in 2007.
Suzanne lives in Bristol and is an associate lecturer at Camberwell College of Art, London, lecturer in photography at Newport School of Art, Design and Media, Wales and a visiting lecturer at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
